KAPUA Labs LLC, doing business as Fronset — outreach privacy notice

Version 2026-10-28 · Last updated 28 October 2026

You are reading this because we sent you, or may send you, a short personal email inviting you or your team to try Fronset, an API that sends each LLM call to the cheapest model measured good enough for the task. This page explains what we hold about you, where we got it, why, and what you can do about it. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

If you just want us to stop: reply “no” to our email, or write to privacy@fronset.ai. We will not contact you again.

1. Who we are

KAPUA Labs LLC, doing business as Fronset, is responsible for the information described on this page.

  • Postal address: 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States
  • Privacy contact: privacy@fronset.ai

2. What we hold about you

Only what we need to decide whether to write to you, to write, and to keep track of the exchange:

  • your name, where you or your organisation published it;
  • the contact details you or your organisation published, usually an email address, and sometimes a profile or handle on a site such as GitHub or Hacker News;
  • your organisation or project, your role, and the country we believe you are in;
  • a link to, and a short note about, what you or your project published that made us write (for example a repository, post or product page that describes an LLM step), and our own short assessment of whether Fronset may suit that project;
  • the dates we wrote to you, your replies, and our notes on the exchange.

We do not look for sensitive information about you.

3. Where we got it

From information that you or your organisation made public, such as GitHub repositories and profiles, Hacker News, Reddit (read through a public archive of Reddit posts), developer forums and issue trackers, company and personal blogs, conference talks and podcasts, startup and product directories, and app marketplaces. We use only contact details that you or your organisation published; we do not guess addresses or buy contact lists. Our email to you names the project or page that led us to you.

We use AI research tools to find and summarise this public information. They do not make any decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on you; a person decides whether to write to you.

We use it to tell people whose work uses LLM calls about a product that may lower the cost of those calls.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our service to people and teams who may benefit from it (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and of the UK GDPR). We have weighed that interest against yours. To keep the effect on you small, we write one note and at most one follow-up about a week later, we use only contact details you or your organisation published, and a “no” ends contact.

5. Who receives it

  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365), which provides our email.
  • GitHub, which hosts our code repository. Our working list of the people we may contact is currently kept in that repository.
  • Anthropic, which provides the AI coding assistant we use to work in that repository.
  • Service providers that help us research public information, for the research step only.
  • If you accept our invitation and sign up: the sign-up link carries a tag naming the outreach round it came from, so your account records how you heard of us. From then on our Privacy Policy covers your account.

We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA and the UK. Fronset is a United States company, and Microsoft, GitHub and Anthropic are United States companies, so your information may be stored or processed in the United States. We rely on the terms under which each of these providers serves us, including their data protection terms where they offer them. You can ask us at privacy@fronset.ai which terms apply.

6. How long we keep it

  • If you tell us to stop, or ask us to delete your information: we stop, and we delete what we hold about you, except your email address, which we keep on a do-not-contact list so that we do not write to you again.
  • Otherwise: if we have had no reply from you, we delete your details within 12 months of our last email to you, or within 12 months of noting you as a possible contact if we never wrote.
  • If we are in conversation: for as long as the conversation continues, and then as above.

Deleting your details from our working list does not remove them from earlier versions kept in our code repository’s history. We do not use those earlier versions to contact anyone.

7. Your rights

  • You can object at any time to our use of your information to contact you about Fronset. This right is absolute: once you object, we stop, without asking why (Article 21(2) and (3) of the GDPR and of the UK GDPR).
  • You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you (access), to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict how we use it.

To use any of these rights, reply to our email or write to privacy@fronset.ai. We answer within one month. For a complex request we may extend that by up to two further months; if we do, we tell you why within the first month.

8. Complaints

You can complain to us first at privacy@fronset.ai. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority: in the EU/EEA, the authority in the country where you live, where you work, or where you think the infringement happened; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commission (ico.org.uk).
